Transportation within Oceana County is provided for all seniors through the bus transportation program. This program is available to all residents of the County. Seniors and the handicapped receive first priority in order to receive support services, reduce isolation and promote independent living.

The OCCOA also provides volunteer driving transportation for seniors who need transportation to and from medical appointments outside of Oceana county. Call the Transportation Office at (231) 873-4461 for more information.

Seeking for Volunteer Drivers

The OCCOA is currently (September 2017) accepting applications for Volunteer Drivers to transport seniors outside of Oceana County to their medical appointments. It is a great way to make some extra money and at the same time provide a service for those in need. You can pick up an application at the Transportation office.
